My Story
Jo Morgan
Alpharetta, GA

Let me use my experiences to help you live a fulfulling life. There is no challenge to great to defeat.

When Jo was 12 years old, she told her mother of a plan she had to build shelters for all the mistreated and abused children in the world, feed the homeless, encourage the sick and the poor and create jobs for the jobless. Her mother said, “Bunny, you can't save the world” and Jo’s reply was “Imma' try”. Twenty years later Jo is doing just that.

Jo speaks to people around the world and helping people to find Happy in bad times. By using her own personal experiences, Jo was able to find happiness in bad situations; and with a diagnosis of bipolar, borderline personality disorder (BPD), a neuromuscular disorder, restrictive lung disease, and raising a child with autism and schizophrenia,...Jo is effective in her efforts.

Jo Morgan is a single mother of three from Baltimore, MD. Simply put, she is creative and funny. All of her family and friends will attest that she has the natural gift of inventiveness. Jo has been writing for the last 15 years as a way to release or escape; through writing poetry and songs of all genres, children books and screenplays; from romantic comedies to an action packed martial arts movie, Ninja Assassin.

Jo is now ready to turn fifteen of her collective pieces into a career. She is set apart from most writers, because she thinks outside of the box. Jo not only sees the big picture, she sees beyond it, and beyond what is evident. Jo's screenplays describe what most people want to say or feel, but are unable to express. She recently started a nonprofit production company, I AM3 Films Inc. /Finally Free Productions, and her first project is a documentary on child molestation, which is now in post-production.

Jo is currently marketing two of her screenplays that have coverage and are ready for pre-production. The first is a period piece by the name of Eleanor Rayne. Eleanor Rayne is a story about a young woman who lives her entire life fiercely driven by the dream to be a star. Eleanor feels that if she becomes famous, then surely her mother, who left her to be raised in an orphanage, will recognize Eleanor and come back to her. She feverishly lives this dream, until she is hit with a harsh reality that drives her to a dramatic end. The second screenplay is an African-American romantic comedy entitled Perfect Fit. It is a story about an award-winning relationship therapist, “love doctor” and author, who finds love on a local dating site, only to get a stalker with a social personality disorder.

Jo has also written 10 children's books entitled The Me and God Collection. Jo is hoping to launch three books out of her collection the summer of 2014. These books are intended to teach children how to make positive choices by using God as their moral compass. They will also teach them to build a natural relationship with God. She feels truly blessed to be constantly working on great projects.

Although, Jo Morgan is confident in her talents, she is also humble to seek assistance. Jo continues to take performance arts and writing classes. Her deepest passion is in drama, screenplay and stage play. By using tools such as, The Screen Writers Bible and Final Draft software, it has increased her talent as an artist. Jo's, flair, determination, tenacity, and humbleness will take her to the next level in her success. With the help of her family, she not only has the talent, but also has the support to take her projects to the top.

Even though Jo possesses multiple amazing and interesting talents and has been fortunate to be successful with them, she is in her glory when she speaks to young women people around the US telling her story and changing lives. Jo has a passion for people and with that passion she created Making “Blue” Happy. A collection of audio books, speaking engagements and pamphlets, teaching people how to find the happiness in whatever life brings...even though its meant to steal your joy and knock you off of your path, it doesn't have to.
